| Installation & Move-in Hours |
Please identify your move-in schedule per your booth size:
|
|---|---|
| Empty Crates | It is important to the success of our move-in, that crates be removed from the floor and placed in storage as soon as they are empty. All empty crates should be closed securely, and an “EMPTY” tag should be attached so they can be removed and placed into storage. Open or untagged crates will not be removed and will clutter both the aisle and your booth. A clearly marked “EMPTY” tag, containing your booth number and company name, securely attached to your empty crates will expedite their removal and return to you at the close of the show. “EMPTY” crate tags may be obtained at the Freeman Exhibitor Service Center at any time. |

Personally Owned Vehicles (POVs) Unloading in the Garage HCF Zone |
Seattle Convention Center (SCC) provides Hand-Carried Freight (HCF) areas within the facility to accommodate small, privately operated vehicles (POV). HCF Zone - Arch South Exhibitors must use the 8th Avenue parking garage entrance. Height clearance at this entry is 6’5”. Standard full-size vans will not clear this entry. Complimentary parking is available in HCF Zone only if exhibitors exit the garage within one hour. Parking tickets are validated at the HCF Service Desk. Exhibitors who remain in the garage past one hour will be charged normal rates. The SCC has a limited number of flatbed carts available on a first-come, first-served basis. Carts are checked-out at the HCF zone in the garage and must be returned when finished. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own carts to expedite their work. Carts are not released at the end of the show until aisle carpet is rolled up. Exhibitors may use only hand-operated equipment (dollies, hand trucks and four-wheeled push carts) that the exhibitors themselves have provided, or the SCC flatbed carts available. The use of forklifts, pallet jacks, lift gates or any other motorized or mechanical equipment is prohibited. |
| Personally Owned Vehicles (POVs) Unloading in the Garage HCF Zone Vehicles 6'5" or larger |
It is highly recommended for exhibitors to ship their freight to the advanced warehouse to ensure your materials arrive at your booth prior to your move-in time. If you must deliver & unload items yourself, it is encouraged (if possible) to arrive in a vehicle 6’5” in height or smaller to utilize the dedicated parking garage HCF (Hand-Carried Freight) Zone. For POV’s with vehicles larger than 6’5”, you must notify Show Management in advance when filling out the Booth Approval Form. We have limited dock space for POV’s and will be scheduling move-in times in advance. Plan to arrive during your specified loading dock time at the marshaling yard to obtain a pass for unloading/loading. To qualify to use this loading dock without union assistance, you must meet the following criteria:
Exhibitors will have a maximum of 20 minutes at the dock space to unload their materials. **Please note: If you do require union assistance, you will incur material handling fees. |
| Mobile Spotting Fee |
As the Official General Service Contractor, Freeman is responsible for all motorized units/vehicles/boats entering and exiting the hall. All motorized units/vehicles/boats on the exhibit hall floor must be escorted by Freeman personnel. This round trip spotting includes laying visqueen (if necessary) as well as adhering to any and all regulations that are required by the Fire Marshall, including taping the gas tank, disconnecting batteries and meeting the fuel tank limits as noted in the General Fire Safety Guidelines.

Empty Crates |
Please keep all aisles clear as blocking the aisles will delay move-out. Due to the size of the event, it may take several hours to return all empty crates to the exhibit floor. Exhibits must be fully dismantled with material handling agreements turned into the Freeman Service Desk no later than Saturday, November 21 at 5:00PM. |
|
Returning Your Freight |
If not done so in advance, you may plan to have your exhibit returned by visiting the Exhibitor Service Desk area on site. Every outbound shipment will require an Outbound Material Handling Agreement and labels. |
|
Post Show Paperwork and Labels |
Freeman Exhibitor Support will gladly prepare your outbound Material Handling Agreement and label in advance. Complete the Outbound Shipping form and your paperwork will be available at show site. Be sure your carrier knows the company name and booth number when planning for shipping your exhibit at the close of the show.
|
| Outbound Carriers | To ensure all exhibitor materials are removed from the exhibit facility by the Exhibitor Move-Out deadline, please have all carriers check in by November 21, 2026 at 6:00 PM. In the event that your selected carrier fails to show on final move-out day, Freeman reserves the right to re-route your freight onto another carrier. Please also be sure that your carrier knows both the company name and booth number as the driver will be required to relay this information upon arrival at the check-in point. |
